With chiseled faces and lean bodies, these 50-plus men are ruling both big screens & OTT platforms. Indeed, age seemed to have lost its relevance to those mean looks and evergreen swag. One can say, today an actor is as appropriate as his fitness levels. Even yesteryears’ popularity feels shallow when it comes to the importance of being fit.

Take a case in point! An actor like Govinda, can be seen selling knee-pain oil on tele-shops, while Bobby Deol, who wasn’t even a top actor in his times, already has two big digital series under his belt. Even at the age of 52, Bobby is fitter than many actors from the younger generation.
A classic name in such list of fit @ 50 could be Saif Ali Khan. Nawab Saab could revive his career in the last decade because of his maintained self and boy-like charm. It did get him the persnickety Kareena Kapoor as his Begum, but also hits like Love Aaj Kal, Race 2, and recent titles like Tanaji, Sacred Games & Tandav. He is certainly busier than ever.
It will not be wrong to say that both Anil Kapoor & Anupam Kher can be called fitness icons too. Both the actors are above 60 and at the top of their health. Not just strict diets, but both the actors, who happen to be neighbors and friends too, share strict work-out routines too.
Even a comparison between veterans like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra evinces the importance of fitness. Bachchan has been holding his might since last two decades with innovative roles and challenging roles, Dharmendra has been missing for the last three decades, with just a couple of outings in between.
And the latest to join this bandwagon of fit & fab is Fardeen Khan. Though he is still two years away from hitting the half century, our sources have confirmed that he is already discussing some major roles with couple of mainstream production houses.
So, age is just a number. And these men prove it right.
